Abstract:
This Personal Data Protection Bill is currently being reviewed by a Joint Parliamentary Committee. The 2019 version of the bill has proposed a major revamp to the existing privacy laws in the country. This webinar will trace the history of privacy laws in the country and then dwell on the highlights and regulations of the bill. The webinar will also emphasise on how the bill will affect enterprises that collect and process personal data.
This webinar is a beginner’s guide for anyone wanting to understand how individuals and enterprises will be affected if the Data Protection bill 2019 becomes an act.

The session will be followed by Q&A and assessment test.
Certificate of achievement will be given to those who clear the assessment test and certification of participation for those who attend.
