CySecK “ The Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity” was formed in 2017 by Government of Karnataka, Anchored within the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and powered by the Government of Karnataka, CySecK is a pioneering Centre of Excellence devoted to building a secure digital future through cutting edge innovation, deep research, and strategic collaboration.
Our mission is to empower Karnataka’s digital landscape by fostering a robust ecosystem that seamlessly connects academia, industry, government, and startups. Through our state-of-the-art hardware security research labs, world-class incubation programs, and industry aligned training initiatives, we are catalyzing a new era of trust, resilience, and technological sovereignty in cybersecurity. CySecK is a centre and its movement to ensure that Karnataka becomes a global hub for cybersecurity excellence, where innovation meets impact and security drives sustainability.
Until recently the CySeck CoE was under the aegis of IISc the momentum built during the 5-year as poised the centre for further scale of its program and expansion of its and its activities.
With the Karnataka Cyber Security policy 2024 approved and operational the Policy which is drafted by CoE, this scale up could be a lined to support The Department of Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology with the delivery of policy objectives.
