CySecK – as part of Samgacchadhwam series of webinars – is conducting a free webinar for students / faculty / working professionals on the topic “Introduction to Intrusion Prevention Systems”. This webinar is in partnership with McAfee.

Time: 5:00 to 6:30 pm

Brief Introduction:
This webinar aims to cover the fundamentals and functioning of intrusion detection systems. Further we explores the threat landscape and challenges w.r.t to the IDS/ IPS industries. We also talk about data encryption – the technologies and approaches.

Pre-requisites:
Familiarity with concepts like networking, protocols (tcp/ip, http, smtp), basic security concepts and web attacks (SQL injection, XSS attack, Buffer Overflow etc).

Note: Those who clears assessment will be provided a certificate of achievement & who could not take the assessment will be provided a certificate of participation.
