CySecK – as part of Samgacchadhwam series of webinars – is conducting a free webinar for students / faculty / working professionals on the topic “Attack and Defense Methodologies”. This webinar will be conducted by Fortinet. The speaker for this webinar will be Mr. Valan Sivasubramania, Manager – Systems Engineering.
This webinar will be held in two phases
First Phase – 11 Nov, 2020 (Wednesday) – Theoretical session – Open to all
Time 5.00- 6.30 PM
Eligibility- Open to all
About the first session-
Provide an insight on the threat actors, what tools and methodologies they use, and how to use the Security Technologies to break the kill chain.
Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to:
- a) Understand the anatomy of an attack, also known as the kill chain
- b) Understand the tools and techniques threat actors use to breach an organization
- c) Understand the tools and techniques to protect against known and unknown threats

Second Phase – 18th Nov, 2020 (Wednesday) – Hands-On Session – Limited to top 35 participants
About the second session-
The hands-on session will be a 3 hour long session conducted using the Security Tools. This session would have scenario with vulnerabilities of real work, similar to a Hackathon, along with a real time score board and display the progress of the participants to different stages of the attack.
Eligibility – Top 35 achievers, who score maximum marks after the first phase assessment will be contacted by our team via email.
Time – 3.00 -6.00 PM
