Brief Introduction/ Abstract: Secure Multi-party Computation aka MPC, the standard-bearer and holy-grail problem in Cryptography, permits a collection of data-owners to compute a collaborative result, without any of them gaining any knowledge about the data provided by the other, except what is derivable from the final result of the computation. The talk will discuss the fundamental results on garbled circuits and Yao’s two-party computation.

Target Audience: Anyone with basic mathematical maturity can attend. Anyone with Computer Science background (2nd year or above).

Takeaway: Getting introduced to the very exciting topic of MPC– art of computing on private data!
