CySecK – as part of Samgacchadhwam series of webinars – is conducting a free webinar for students / faculty / working professionals on the topic “Security and Privacy in Cyber-Physical Systems”. This webinar will be taken by Prof. Vaibhav Katewa from Indian Institute of Science.


Brief introduction to the topic :

The webinar will introduce the audience to Cyber-physical systems and the challenges and benefits involved in designing such systems. In particular, we will focus on security and privacy issues. Various types of cyber-physical attacks will be introduced briefly along with possible

remedial measures. Further, we will motivate the need of privacy in these systems and discuss various possible privacy mechanisms, and focus on one of these mechanisms in detail – Differential privacy.


Target audience :

Individuals who want an overview of security and privacy issues in Cyber-physical systems. Please note that this webinar will focus more on the “physical” part of the systems rather than the “purely cyber” techniques for security and privacy.


Any pre-requisites that the students would need to have :

Nothing specific.
